Statement Definition File |
Select the Definition file for the import format used to import bank statements. Standard definition files are provided for all major New Zealand banks, or you can create a definition using CB Statement Import Definition. The standard definition files are here, \\Accredo\Imports\CBImports\ |
Statement Import File |
The location and name of the file to import. Ensure the file can be accessed from an Accredo workstation where the bank reconciliation can be performed, e.g. "Statements\*.csv" specifies csv files in a Statements folder under the System Path. |
Match After Import |
Selected, (Default) Match All will be triggered automatically after CB Bank Reconciliation statement imports, Bank Feeds and when a statement is edited. Unselected, Matching is not triggered automatically, trigger manually on CB Bank Reconciliation statement by clicking the Match All |
Date Of Last Import |
The date of the most recent statement import. |
Hide Reconciled by default |
Selected, Hide Reconciled is switched on when an open statement for the bank account is opened in CB Bank Reconciliation. You can toggle it from there. Clear, (default) reconciled lines are shown. |
Bank Feeds |
Import transactions for the bank account from a bank feed provided by Akahu. Bank feeds are available when the Bank Feeds extension is added to the company and the system is connected to Akahu, see Bank Feeds and Bank Feed Connections. The fields are disabled when bank feeds are not available. |
Bank Feeds Enabled |
Selected, transactions for the bank account are imported from the bank feed every night, into statements whose length is set by the statement cadence below. Transactions can also be imported for a date range with Import Bank Feed on CB Bank Reconciliation. If the system holds no Akahu connection, the Akahu consent page opens in your browser to create one. If the system password policy is weaker than the recommended settings you are asked to confirm, see Password Security Bank Feeds. Clear, (default) statements are imported from files or entered manually. |
Account |
The account at Akahu that feeds this bank account. The list shows the accounts shared under each Akahu connection that are assigned to this company in Bank Feed Connections. An account that already feeds another bank account cannot be selected. With the System permission Bank Feed Connections, accounts not yet assigned to a company are also listed, and the list offers Add a bank to this connection... and Connect another Akahu login..., which open the Akahu consent page in your browser. |
Statement Count Statement Unit |
The statement cadence. The overnight import adds lines to the open statement and inserts a new statement every Statement Count of Days, Weeks, Months or Period. Period closes each statement on the period end date. Defaults to 1 Months when Bank Feeds Enabled is first selected. A Statement Count of 0 leaves the bank account off the overnight import. |
Statement Day Of Month |
Available for Months. The day of the month each statement closes on. 31 (default) closes on the last day of the month. |
Close At Period End |
Available for Weeks. Selected, a weekly statement that would run past the end of an accounting period closes on the period end date instead, so the period ends with a statement. |
Notify Success |
Selected, the bank feed notification email also reports a successful overnight import for this bank account. Failures are always reported. The email is sent to the addresses in CB Settings - Misc tab, or to the email address of each Akahu connection when none are set. |
File Import Enabled |
Selected, Import on CB Bank Reconciliation remains available for the bank account while Bank Feeds Enabled is selected, so statement files can still be imported. Clear, statement lines come from the bank feed only. |
Next Statement |
The date the next statement closes on, one statement cadence on from the latest statement for the bank account. (Read-only) Blank when Statement Count is 0, or when a Period cadence has no later period. |
Last Import Date |
The date the bank feed has been imported up to. Each night the import re-reads from seven days before this date, so transactions the bank posts late are picked up; transactions already imported are skipped. Set the date back to import transactions again from an earlier date. |
